I have just read Ken Gracia’s “Spam Be Gone” in your February issue, page 10. ![]() PC World and other publications have used Tiny (a redirection service rather than a site per se: you just plug the given TinyURL into your browser’s address bar to be taken to where you want to go) for years and I’ve never heard of any spyware problems. This is the first time I have ever seen that warning. My first attempt to go there resulted in my Zone Alarm coming up and warning me that this site was a known distributor of spyware, since 2002. ![]() However a common site referred to for software is. I bought PC World March 2008, hoping your article ‘Five Minute Fixes’ would help quicken my XP start up. ![]()
